Eligible for a partial refund - Office of the Public Guardian fees?

Hannah Worth Legal Services Ltd will be writing to all clients over the next few weeks who may be eligible for an Office of the Public Guardian partial refund.

If you registered your Lasting Power of Attorney, LPA or Enduring Power of Attorney, EPA between 1 April 2013 and 31 March 2017, in England and Wales, then you may be eligible for a partial refund on the registration fees you paid.

This is because the Office of the Public Guardian’s operating costs were reduced due to the high numbers of documents being registered. However, the registration fees were not reduced in line with this.
